Job Title : Senior SAP ABAP Consultant

Location : Chennai / Hyderabad / Gandhinagar

Work Mode : 5 Days Onsite

Job Summary :

We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled Senior SAP ABAP Consultant with strong expertise in S/4 HANA implementations and advanced ABAP development. The ideal candidate will be responsible for complex ABAP programming, technical design development, system enhancements, integration, testing, and debugging across multiple SAP modules.

This role requires close collaboration with functional teams and client stakeholders to deliver high-quality, scalable SAP solutions aligned with business requirements.

Key Responsibilities :

- Perform complex ABAP programming, testing, troubleshooting, and debugging across SAP modules.

- Understand business requirements from functional design documents and translate them into detailed technical design specifications.

- Develop, enhance, and support ABAP objects in SAP S/4 HANA environments.

- Work closely with functional consultants, designers, and business users to deliver effective solutions.

- Build strong professional relationships with clients and stakeholders.

- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to SAP development best practices.

- Optimize and improve existing code for performance and scalability.

- Support integration and interface development between SAP and external systems.

Technical Skills & Experience :

Core Requirements :

- Minimum 6+ years of hands-on experience in ABAP programming

- Experience in S/4 HANA Implementation or Support Projects

- Strong experience working with SAP modules such as :

1. FICO

2. SD

3. MM

4. PS

Technical Expertise :

Advanced knowledge of :

- Adobe Forms

- AMDP

- CDS Views

- BRF+

- HANA Proxy Objects

- Experience in SAP API and ODATA development

- Strong exposure to SAP enhancements including :

1. Customer Exits

2. BADI (Business Add-Ins)

3. Enhancement Framework

- Experience developing interfaces using :

1. File Interfaces

2. RFC

3. IDOC

4. BAPI

5. Web Services

6. Database Connections

- Strong understanding of Object-Oriented ABAP and design patterns

- Proven ability to analyze, debug, and improve complex code structures

Educational Qualifications :

- Bachelors or Masters degree in :

1. Computer Science

2. Information Systems

3. Engineering

4. Or related technical field

Soft Skills :

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities

- Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment

- Client-facing experience preferred
