Job Summary :

We are looking for a seasoned Senior SAP ABAP Consultant with extensive experience in S/4HANA and end-to-end implementation projects.

The ideal candidate will have deep technical expertise in ABAP development, particularly within the S/4HANA environment, and must have led or significantly contributed to at least two complete S/4HANA implementations.

This is a key technical role requiring leadership in development design, hands-on coding, and collaboration across functional and technical teams in a dynamic enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead and deliver ABAP development efforts within S/4HANA implementation projects.

- Participate in all phases of the project lifecycle requirement gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and support.

- Develop high-quality code using ABAP on HANA, OData services, CDS views, AMDPs, and BOPF frameworks.

- Work closely with functional consultants, business stakeholders, and solution architects to translate functional requirements into technical specifications.

- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers.

- Ensure development aligns with SAP best practices, coding standards, and project timelines.

- Conduct code reviews, performance tuning, and troubleshoot issues across custom developments.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration between SAP modules and other systems.

- Prepare and maintain comprehensive technical documentation.

- Contribute to innovation and continuous improvement in development methodologies and practices.

Must-Have Skills :

Strong hands-on experience in SAP ABAP, including :

- Reports, Smart Forms / Adobe Forms, Module Pool, Enhancements / BADIs / User Exit.

- RFCs, BAPIs, BADI Enhancements, IDOCs.

Expertise in S/4HANA ABAP programming including :

1. CDS Views, AMDP, OData, Fiori integration.

2. Performance tuning in HANA environment.

- Minimum 2 full-cycle S/4HANA implementations (greenfield or brownfield).

- Good understanding of SAP modules such as MM, SD, FICO, PP, or PM.

- Experience with Version Control Tools (e.g., Git), Transport Management, and Solution Manager.

- Ability to lead development teams and act as a technical SME.

Preferred Qualifications :

- SAP ABAP certification.

- Experience in Agile/Scrum methodology.

- Exposure to SAP BTP, CAPM, or Fiori/UI5 development.

- Knowledge of integration tools like PI/PO, CPI is a plus.

- Experience working in multi-geography teams or global rollouts.

Educational Qualification :

Bachelors or Masters Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
