The Senior Salesforce Data Cloud Developer will be responsible for the end-to-end design, development, and deployment of scalable, data-driven solutions on the Salesforce platform, with a deep focus on Salesforce Data Cloud (formerly Customer Data Platform, or CDP). The ideal candidate has significant hands-on experience with Data Cloud implementations, robust Apex and LWC skills, and a strong understanding of data modeling, integration, and governance.

Key Responsibilities :

Salesforce Data Cloud Implementation and Development :

- Lead the design, development, and deployment of solutions on the Salesforce Data Cloud platform.

- Design and execute data ingestion processes from various sources using connectors, APIs, and data streams.

- Develop and optimize data models, data transformations, and harmonization rules to support business processes and reporting.

- Implement identity resolution, entity unification, and profile enrichment to create a unified customer view.

- Build and maintain customer segments and calculated insights for personalized, targeted engagement.

Salesforce Platform Development :

- Develop custom applications and functionality using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and declarative tools like Flows.

- Build and maintain integrations between Salesforce, Data Cloud, and external systems using REST/SOAP APIs and middleware tools like MuleSoft.

- Ensure integrations are scalable, efficient, and reliable.

Architecture, Performance, and Governance :

- Collaborate with solution architects to design scalable data pipelines and optimize solution architecture.

- Implement and enforce data governance, consent management, and privacy controls (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) within the Data Cloud ecosystem.

- Proactively monitor and tune the performance of Data Cloud solutions to ensure high performance and scalability.

Leadership and Mentorship :

- Provide technical guidance and support to other team members and end-users.

- Mentor junior developers and contribute to best practices and coding standards.

- Actively participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.

Analysis and Documentation :

- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

- Analyze and interpret data to create reports, insights, and dashboards for stakeholders.

- Create detailed technical documentation, including solution designs, configurations, and customizations.

Qualifications

Education : Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience : 6 - 9 years of hands-on Salesforce platform development experience, with mandatory experience in Salesforce Data Cloud (CDP) implementation.

Technical Skills :

- Expertise in Salesforce Data Cloud for data ingestion, unification, segmentation, and activation.

- Proficiency in Apex, LWC, Visualforce, SOQL, and declarative development tools.

- Solid understanding of Salesforce data architecture and data modeling.

- Experience with API-based integrations (REST/SOAP) and ETL processes.

- Familiarity with DevOps processes and CI/CD pipelines.
