Key Responsibilities & Technical Deliverables :

Copado CI/CD Implementation & Architecture :

- Pipeline Design : Design, implement, and operate end-to-end Salesforce CI/CD pipelines using Copado, optimizing for speed, reliability, and automated governance across multiple environments.

- Version Control : Enforce best practices for Git-based versioning (specifically GitFlow and branching strategy) integrated with the Copado platform.

- Automation : Drive SFDX automation scripts and capabilities within the Copado framework to enhance deployment efficiency, execute automated testing, and manage scratch org creation or similar capabilities.

- Sandbox Strategy : Strategically manage the sandbox strategy, including refresh scheduling, data preparation, and alignment with the branching model to support parallel development streams.

Release Governance & Quality Assurance :

- Metadata Management : Oversee the technical governance of metadata deployments and validations, ensuring configuration drift is minimized and code conflicts are resolved proactively.

- Rollback Strategy : Implement and validate robust rollback strategies and recovery procedures to ensure business continuity during critical releases.

- Data Management : Utilize data migration tools and techniques to ensure necessary reference data moves reliably between environments as part of the pipeline.

- Compliance : Align DevOps processes with Agile and ALM (Application Lifecycle Management) standards.

Leadership & Integration Mentorship :

- Mentor developers and administrators on CI/CD processes, deployment best practices, version control, and efficient utilization of the Copado platform.

- Integration : Support secure integration strategies between Salesforce and external systems (e.g., APIs). Experience with integration platforms like MuleSoft is a strong advantage.

- Platform Knowledge : Possess a foundational understanding of the underlying Salesforce development stack (Apex/LWC basics) to effectively troubleshoot deployment issues related to custom code.

Required Skills & Experience :

- Summary Core DevOps (Mandatory) : Mandatory 4+ years experience with Copado.

- Tooling : Expert knowledge of Git and experience with SFDX.

- Methodology : Expertise in GitFlow and rollback strategies.

- Platform Basics : Foundational knowledge of Apex/LWC basics for deployment troubleshooting.

- Data : Experience with data migration tools.

- Preferred / Nice to Have : Attainment of Copado certifications.

- Relevant Salesforce certifications (e.g., Platform Developer I/II, Application Architect).
