Job Summary :
The Salesforce Architect will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and overseeing the migration of our CRM and related systems from Oracle to Salesforce.
This position requires a deep understanding of both platforms, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless transition.
Key Responsibilities :
- Architectural Design : Develop and implement comprehensive architectural strategies for migrating from Oracle to Salesforce.
- Migration Planning : Lead the planning and execution of migration activities, including data mapping, data migration, integration, and validation.
- Technical Leadership : Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams throughout the migration process.
- System Integration : Design and oversee the integration of Salesforce with other enterprise systems.
- Custom Development : Work with developers to build custom solutions on the Salesforce platform as needed.
- Quality Assurance : Ensure the integrity, performance, and reliability of the migrated systems through rigorous testing and validation.
- Stakeholder Communication : Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and communicate technical solutions effectively.
- Documentation : Create detailed documentation of the architecture, migration plans, and processes.

- Experience with Salesforce Data Loader for importing, exporting, and updating large datasets.
- Advanced skills in SQL and PL/SQL for querying and managing data in Oracle databases.
- Understanding of Oracle CRM (Oracle CX).
- Skills in optimizing SOQL queries and database interactions for improved performance.
- In-depth knowledge of Sales Cloud functionalities, including opportunity management, lead management, and forecasting.
- Proficiency in Service Cloud features such as case management, service console, and knowledge base.
- Advanced skills in Apex for developing custom business logic and integrations.
- Expertise in writing efficient triggers and batch Apex for data processing and automation tasks.
- Knowledge of modern web standards and proficiency in building Lightning Web Components (LWC) for optimized performance and ease of use.
- Experience in utilizing Salesforce REST/SOAP API for integrating Salesforce with external/legacy systems.
- Skills in using Bulk API for handling large volumes of data efficiently.
Good-to-have Skills :
- Experience in developing custom integration solutions using middleware platforms like MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, or Informatica.
- Knowledge of Salesforce CPQ.
- Knowledge of compliance standards such as GDPR, HIPAA, and SOX, and their implications for data migration and integration.
- Knowledge of industry best practices for system integration, including security considerations, error handling, and data synchronization.
Qualifications :
Education :
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
Experience :
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in Salesforce architecture.
- Extensive experience in migrating systems from Oracle to Salesforce.
- Proven track record of successful Salesforce implementations and migrations.
Certifications : Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA) or equivalent certifications preferred
