Job Summary :

We are seeking a highly experienced and dedicated Senior Quality Test Engineer with a minimum of 5+ years of solid automation experience to specialize in Copado Robotic Testing (CRT).

This is a critical, hands-on role focused on creating and automating complex QA scenarios and integrating testing within a robust CI/CD pipeline.

The ideal candidate will be an automation expert, contributing to quality initiatives for high-value applications. This role requires working a hybrid schedule (2 days onsite) in the Bangalore office.

Key Responsibilities :

Copado Robotic Testing (CRT) & Test Automation :

- Develop, author, and execute complex automated test scripts and "test strips" (test case files) directly within the Copado Robotic Testing (CRT) platform, or similar low-code/pro-code robotic testing tools.

- Automate end-to-end QA scenarios for complex business processes, focusing on non-GUI, API, and UI interactions.

- Utilize, or quickly master, QWords scripting (or similar keyword-driven automation libraries) to build reusable and maintainable test assets.

- Drive the strategy and implementation of automated tests to achieve maximum coverage and reliability, moving beyond basic manual testing practices.

CI/CD Integration and Quality Gates :

- Design and implement the integration of automated CRT test suites directly into the CI/CD pipeline (e.g., Jenkins, Copado DevOps, Azure DevOps) to run as quality gates.

- Configure and troubleshoot continuous testing processes, ensuring tests execute reliably and report results accurately upon commit, promotion, or deployment.

- Collaborate with DevOps and development teams to ensure a shift-left approach to quality and seamless deployment velocity.

Framework Development and Alternatives :

- Analyze and, where necessary, refactor existing test cases or manually-driven processes for automation.

- Apply deep automation expertise to support or transition development efforts using comparable automation skillsets like Selenium WebDriver or Playwright in the absence of direct CRT experience.

- Provide expertise in automation architecture, code reviews, and standards to ensure the longevity and stability of the test framework.

Qualifications :

- Experience : Mandatory 5+ years of dedicated experience as a Quality Automation Tester/Engineer.

- Test Automation Tool (Absolute Priority) : Proven, hands-on experience with Copado Robotic Testing (CRT).

- OR Demonstrable, expert-level experience with open-source tools like Selenium WebDriver or Playwright is considered a comparable skillset.

- Scripting/Code : Proficiency in creating robust, scalable test scripts, understanding of object-oriented concepts, and experience with relevant scripting languages (Python, JavaScript).

- CI/CD : Strong working knowledge of CI/CD pipeline integration, version control systems (Git), and setting up automated quality gates.

- Core QA : Expert knowledge of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies (Agile/Scrum).

Preferred Skills :

- Domain Expertise (Huge Plus) : Automated testing experience specific to Salesforce.com applications (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, etc.).

- Specialized Domain (Extra Plus) : Direct automated testing experience with Salesforce CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote).

- Certification : Copado Robotic Testing Certification or relevant advanced automation certifications (Selenium/Playwright certifications).

- Testing Techniques : Experience with API automation testing (e.g., Postman, Rest Assured) to complement UI testing.
