Senior Quality Engineering Specialist

Overview :

We are seeking an experienced Quality Engineering 5+ years of experience to join our Quality Engineering team. In this role, you will lead the test strategy, automation frameworks, and execution processes to ensure the delivery of high-quality, reliable, and scalable software products.

You will work across frontend, backend, and cloud-based applications, driving test excellence, mentoring engineers, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities :

- Define, design, and implement effective test strategies, frameworks, and practices for enterprise-scale solutions.

- Oversee manual and automated testing across both frontend and backend components.

- Drive automation initiatives using Selenium (UI) and REST Assured (API).

- Ensure comprehensive testing coverage in cloud-based environments (AWS EC2, S3, Lambda, CloudWatch).

- Contribute to and review automation frameworks and reusable test assets.

- Lead performance testing using tools such as JMeter.

- Manage test execution, defect tracking, and provide detailed test status reports.

- Collaborate with development, product, and DevOps teams to ensure end-to-end quality.

- Mentor and guide a team of Quality Engineers, fostering technical growth.

- Advocate Agile testing practices, CI/CD integration, and engineering excellence.

- Continuously evaluate and implement emerging testing tools, frameworks, and best practices.

Qualifications :

- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

- 6+ years of professional experience in Software Testing & Quality Engineering.

- Proven experience leading test strategy, planning, and execution.

Technical Expertise :

UI & API Test Automation :

- Selenium, REST Assured

Performance Testing :

- JMeter

Cloud Technologies :

- AWS (EC2, S3, Lambda, CloudWatch)

CI/CD Tools :

- Jenkins, Maven, Git

- Strong programming knowledge in Java and OOP concepts

- Experience with test management and defect tracking tools.

- Working knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

- Experience in leading and mentoring QA teams.

- ISTQB certification is a plus.
