Senior Quality Engineer ( Manual )

Job Description :

- Understanding of payments and banking domain fundamentals required

- Knowledge on ticket tools such as JIRA must.

- Participate in critical design activities to assure that the product under development meets requirements and can be effectively tested.

- Effective at quickly understanding technology and explaining it in non-technical terms.

- Taking ownership of technical issues, and working with developers to resolve issues as and when required.

- Analyzing trends of bugs and getting them fixed.

- Be aware of product updates, ux trends and new technologies.

- Use multiple platforms like JIRA, Git, AWS, Jenkins, firebase, Grafana etc.

- Establish and maintain productive relationships with developers, product managers and other team members.

- Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities to meet the deadlines

- Tech graduates with 4 to 6 years of experience.

- Design and implement comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for web, mobile, or backend applications.

- Identify, reproduce, and track software defects through bug tracking tools (i.e., Jira).

- Communicate defects and issues with developers and assist in resolving them.

- Perform root cause analysis on critical defects and help in their resolution.

- Ensure that testing efforts align with the development schedule and project timelines.

- Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and designers to understand requirements and provide feedback on product design and functionality.

- Maintain thorough documentation of testing processes, test cases, and results.

- Mentor junior QA engineers, providing guidance and best practices to improve the overall testing process.

- Have worked in almost all QA processes like requirement analysis, defining test cases, test plan, and testing strategies.

- Must have hands-down experience in functional, API and app / browser testing.

- Exceptional interpersonal relationship and communication skills, verbal and written (peers, executives, cross-culture).

- Maintain a high level of quality while working under pressure and deadlines.

- Strong sense of teamwork, personal integrity, responsibility & accountability

- Analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Test it to break it attitude

- Hands-on experience in SQL queries is a plus.

- Advocate for automation and best practices to reduce manual testing efforts.

- Working experience of a startup.

Experience Range : 4 - 6 years

Educational Qualifications : B.Tech/B.E ,and M.Tech , MCA

Skills Required : Android , Manual Testing , IPA , JIRA , SQL
