Role Overview :

As a Senior QA Lead Engineer, you will serve as the technical authority for our quality engineering initiatives, overseeing the end-to-end testing lifecycle for complex software ecosystems. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional product teams, developers, and stakeholders to define testing strategies that align with business objectives. Your daily focus will involve architecting robust automation frameworks, mentoring junior engineers, and ensuring that our delivery pipelines maintain the highest standards of reliability and performance in a fully remote environment.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and implement scalable test automation architectures to accelerate release cycles and improve overall software quality.

- Lead the execution of comprehensive regression testing suites to ensure stability across frequent deployments.

- Integrate automated testing workflows into CI/CD pipelines to facilitate continuous delivery and rapid feedback loops.

- Conduct rigorous performance testing to identify and resolve bottlenecks, ensuring optimal application responsiveness under load.

- Manage defect tracking and resolution workflows within Jira to maintain clear visibility into project health for stakeholders.

- Balance manual testing efforts with automated coverage to address edge cases and complex user scenarios that require human intuition.

- Mentor team members on best practices in test engineering to foster a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated expertise in designing and maintaining complex automation frameworks using Playwright Testing.

- Proven ability to act as a Test Architect, translating high-level business requirements into actionable, long-term quality strategies.

- Strong proficiency in managing the full software quality assurance lifecycle, from requirements analysis to production release.

- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical risks and quality metrics to non-technical stakeholders.

- Extensive experience working in distributed, remote-first environments, maintaining high levels of productivity and collaboration.

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with 6 - 15 years of professional experience in quality engineering.

- Strong analytical mindset, capable of identifying systemic issues and implementing preventative measures to improve product quality.
