Job Summary :

We are seeking a QA Automation Engineer / SDET with 5+ years of experience in manual and automation testing, with strong expertise in Python-based test automation. The role involves designing robust test solutions, implementing quality controls, and ensuring high-quality releases in an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and execute functional, regression, and E2E test cases

- Implement quality controls including entry/exit criteria and acceptance criteria

- Validate and track P1/P2/S1/S2 defects

- Develop and maintain automation scripts using Python

- Automate UI testing using Selenium

- Create and maintain BDD test scenarios using Cucumber

- Perform API testing and database validations

- Track and analyze test coverage, defect leakage, and defect slippage

- Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins)

- Work closely with developers, product owners, and stakeholders

- Actively participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies

Required Skills :

- 5+ years of experience in QA / Test Automation

- Strong hands-on experience with Python

- Experience with Selenium automation

- Knowledge of BDD frameworks (Cucumber or similar)

- Experience in E2E, API, and DB testing

- Familiarity with GitHub, Jenkins

- Experience using ADO (Azure DevOps) and JIRA

- Strong understanding of QA processes, test metrics, and test design techniques

- Good communication and stakeholder coordination skills

- Experience working in Agile environments

Nice to Have :

- Exposure to automation framework enhancements

- Basic knowledge of performance or security testing

- Mentoring or peer review experience
