Description :

Seeking a Senior QA Engineer with strong expertise in web automation and mobile app testing/automation, along with AI adoption across testing practices.

The role involves ensuring quality across web, mobile, and API layers, leveraging AI-driven approaches to improve test coverage, efficiency, and defect detection, while validating end-to-end workflows and critical features.

Responsibilities :

- Create test strategies, plans, and test cases.

- Perform automated testing across web, mobile, and APIs.

- Validate end-to-end workflows and user journeys.

- Perform API testing and data validation.

- Track defects using Jira / Azure DevOps or similar tools.

- Collaborate with dev/product teams for issue resolution.

- Execute regression, sanity, and exploratory testing.

- Participate in Agile ceremonies and ensure test coverage.

- Leverage AI tools for test case generation, automation optimisation, debugging, and test data creation.

The core requirements for the job include the following :

Technical Skills :

- Web Automation.

- Selenium (Playwright - good to have).

- Java / JavaScript / TypeScript / Python.

- BDD: TestNG.

- Handling dynamic elements, waits, and framework maintenance.

- Applying AI-driven approaches in web automation (self-healing locators, intelligent test generation, failure analysis).

- Mobile Testing and Automation.

- Android/iOS testing.

- Exposure to Appium or similar tools.

- Knowledge of native, hybrid, and WebView applications.

- Device compatibility, network scenarios, real-device testing, and AI-driven approaches.

- API and Backend Testing: API testing (Postman), REST APIs, JSON validation, MongoDB (NoSQL validation, queries, document structure).

- Tools and Technologies: Azure DevOps / Jira, Jenkins, Git.

Additional Skills :

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

- Ability to mentor junior QA engineers.

- Good communication and collaboration skills.

Good to Have :

- Bachelor's degree in computer science/engineering/IT or equivalent.
