What youll do :

- Support development teams by embedding quality and testing throughout the development lifecycle.

- Define and implement comprehensive test plans and scenarios for new and existing features.

- Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites to ensure reliability and scalability of applications.

- Help reduce manual regression testing by increasing automated coverage and efficiency.

- Continuously improve automation strategies by applying industry best practices and modern tools.

- Analyze user stories and requirements to design effective test cases and drive test-first thinking across teams.

- Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and DevOps teams to ensure high-quality, tested deliveries.

You should have :

- 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with strong exposure to international and distributed teams.

- Deep experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, XP), DevOps, and performance testing.

- Proven expertise in testing Kafka-based applications and distributed systems.

- Proficiency in test automation tools and languages like Cucumber, Selenium, JUnit, Java, and hands-on API testing using Postman, RestAssured, or Karate.

- Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tooling (e.g., Git, Jenkins, Jira, Confluence).

- Solid grasp of manual testing principles and the full software development lifecycle.

Bonus if you have :

- Experience with contract testing and frameworks supporting microservices and integration testing.

- Familiarity with event-driven architectures, event sourcing, and CQRS.

- Hands-on understanding of BDD practices and working with Gherkin syntax.

- Experience using observability and monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or Dynatrace.

- Strong communication skills in English, with the ability to clearly explain technical topics to both technical and non-technical audiences.
