Job Description

Requirements :

- 5-7 years of hands-on experience in software manual testing.

- Ability to analyse requirements, user stories, and technical specifications to create comprehensive test plans and test cases.

- Proficient in performing functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing of web and mobile applications.

- Skilled in logging, tracking, and managing defects through to resolution, with clear communication to developers and stakeholders.

- Comfortable collaborating with cross-functional Agile teams and actively contributing during sprint planning and story grooming.

- Capable of ensuring test coverage meets defined quality standards, including participation in test coverage analysis and reporting.

- Experience conducting exploratory and ad-hoc testing for risk-based feature validation.

- Ability to participate in release readiness activities, such as test case reviews, documentation, and sign-offs.

- Proactive in refining and improving QA processes and best practices within the organization.

- Experience mentoring junior QA engineers and supporting their technical and career development.

- Effective communicator for sharing QA status, results, and risks with team leads and project managers.

- Strong understanding of testing methodologies, defect lifecycle, and Agile development processes.

- Skilled at writing clear, detailed, and well-structured test cases and defect reports.

- Proficient in cross-browser and cross-device testing for web and mobile applications.

- Experienced with tools such as JIRA, Browser stack, Confluence, or equivalents for test management and documentation.

- Familiar with API testing tools like Postman.

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and verbal/written communication skills.

(Nice to have) - Experience in usability and accessibility testing.

(Nice to have) - Exposure to automation tools or concepts.

(Nice to have) - Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and the QA role within them.
