About the Role :

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to join our Product Engineering team in Ernakulam, Kerala. What Youll Do :

As a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer, your responsibilities will include :

- Comprehensive Testing : Lead and execute both manual and automated testing efforts across various product features and functionalities.

- Automation Framework Development : Design, develop, and maintain robust test automation frameworks, primarily using Playwright with JavaScript/TypeScript.

- API Testing : Conduct thorough API testing using tools like Postman to ensure the reliability and performance of our backend services.

- End-to-End (E2E) Testing : Implement and maintain end-to-end test suites to validate the complete user flows and system integrations.

- Test Case Management : Create, execute, and maintain comprehensive test cases, test plans, and test strategies based on product requirements.

- Defect Management : Identify, document, track, and prioritize software defects, working closely with development teams for timely resolution.

- Cross-functional Collaboration : Collaborate effectively with Product Managers, UI/UX Designers, and Software Engineers throughout the development lifecycle to ensure quality is embedded from conception.

- Tooling Expertise : Utilize your expertise in tools and techniques like XPath and CSS selectors for efficient element identification in automation scripts.

- Agile Participation : Actively participate in an Agile development environment, including ceremonies like sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.

- Continuous Improvement : Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes, tools, and methodologies within the team.

What You Bring :

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and experience :

- Experience : 8+ years of hands-on experience in Quality Assurance, with a strong blend of both manual and automation testing.

- Automation Expertise : Expert-level proficiency in developing and maintaining test automation frameworks, with strong hands-on experience in Playwright using JavaScript/TypeScript.

- API Testing Skills : Proven experience with API testing tools and methodologies, specifically with Postman.

- Web Element Identification : Strong practical knowledge of XPath and CSS selectors for reliable web element identification.

- Testing Methodologies : Solid understanding of End-to-End (E2E) testing principles and practices.

- Agile Mindset : Demonstrated experience working in an Agile development environment (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).
