Senior Quality Assurance Engineer - Manual & Automation Testing

We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Senior QA Engineer with 5+ years of hands-on experience in manual and automated testing, API testing, performance testing, data visualization, and database testing.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in tools such as Playwright, Postman, JMeter, Tableau, and SQL. This role requires a proactive mindset, strong analytical skills, and a solid understanding of software testing best practices in an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain UI automation scripts using Playwright.

- Execute comprehensive manual testing including functional, regression, integration, and UAT.

- Develop and execute API tests using Postman; validate responses, status codes, and data integrity.

- Perform database testing by writing and executing SQL queries to validate backend data integrity, stored procedures, and data flows.

- Conduct performance and load testing using Apache JMeter; analyse performance issues and generate reports.

- Build and manage interactive dashboards and visual reports using Tableau to track and communicate key QA metrics.

- Create and maintain detailed test plans, test cases, test scripts, and defect reports.

- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product owners to ensure quality across the software development lifecycle.

- Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 4+ years of experience in software testing (manual and automation).

- Strong expertise in Playwright (TypeScript).

- Proficient in Postman for REST API testing and automation.

- Proficient in Java/JavaScript/TypeScript, with experience developing UI, API, and end-to-end automation frameworks.

- Exposure to LLM-based solutions, including fine-tuning and leveraging AI for intelligent test generation, validation, and automation optimization

- Exposure on Github copilot, VS code and AI Tools

- Hands-on experience with Apache JMeter for performance/load testing.

- Solid understanding of manual testing methodologies and defect lifecycle.

- Proven experience in database testing using SQL (e.g., joins, stored procedures, data validation).

- Proficient in testing Tableau dashboards for data analysis and reporting.

- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).

- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Exposure to other automation frameworks/tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress).

- Experience with test management tools like Jira, TestRail.
