Job Description :

We are seeking a highly skilled QA Functional Automation Expert with 8+ years of experience specializing in the Finance & Banking domain.

The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in ETL testing, database validation (Snowflake DB preferred), and test automation frameworks. Required Skills

- 8+ years QA experience; 5+ years in banking/finance; 3+ years ETL testing.

- Strong Snowflake skills (SQL, performance tuning, warehousing) or equivalent cloud DBs.

- Expertise in ETL tools : Informatica, Talend, DataStage, SSIS, AWS Glue, NiFi.

- Advanced SQL; automation with Selenium, TestNG/JUnit, Cucumber; Java/Python/C#.

- API testing with Rest Assured, Postman, or SoapUI.

- Knowledge of retail/corporate/investment banking, financial products, reconciliation, and risk.

- Experience with Git, Jenkins/ADO, JIRA/ALM/TestRail; performance testing is a plus.

- Strong analytical, communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.

Role Description :

Quality Assurance plays a key role in ensuring the success of a project. It can be particularly useful when it comes to evaluating processes in a project. The presence of a quality assurance professional helps in monitoring and coordinating the quality of a project.

Role Responsibility :

- Partnering closely with the business & ensuring compliance to quality standards

- Prepare the Test scenarios / Test scripts / Test cases

- Assisting in quality management reviews and seeing audit activities

- Ensuring timely and accurate entry of product complaints into quality tracking systems

- Reviewing and maintaining quality systems and procedures

- Adherence to best practice and relevant regulations

- Responsible to perform the test execution, defect tracking and conduct regular quality assurance audits

- Following up post-audit to ensure that non-conformities are addressed in a timely manner

- Ensuring corrective and preventive actions are effectively implemented

- Work in different shifts and extended work hours & weekends as required by the projects

Role Requirement :

- Experience in any combination of data integration, visualization, database & Data migration testing

- Experience in test automation using commercially available tools

- Experience in any scripting language like Perl, Shell, Python and PLSQL

- Experience in any Testing Methodology like Agile, Waterfall

- Hands on experience in any programming language like Java, Selenium, .Net

- Hands on experience in any tracking tool like Jira, HP Quality Center

- Solid understanding of data warehouse concepts

- Ability to work well in fast-paced environments with minimal supervision

- Hands-on experience with performance testing tools is a plus

- Proficient in any Database like Oracle, MSSQL, Redshift, Netezza, AWS

- Knowledge in any Informatica, Micro Strategy, Tableau, Reporting tools

- Good communication skills to liaise with cross-functional teams is required

Additional Requirement :

Key Responsibilities

- Design and maintain automation frameworks for banking, payments, and trading applications.

- Develop automated suites for functional, regression, integration, and E2E testing; integrate with CI/CD.

- Build reusable automation components for financial workflows.

- Perform ETL testing for data migration, transformation, and loading.

- Conduct source-to-target validation, data quality checks, reconciliation, and data lineage verification.

- Validate Snowflake/enterprise DB workflows, business rules, and load processes.

- Write complex SQL queries; validate schemas, stored procedures, triggers, and indexing.

- Perform DB performance testing, query optimization, and security/masking checks.

- Test financial systems : payments, loans, trade finance, risk, and regulatory reporting.

- Validate financial calculations, FX conversions, transactions, GL integrations, and reconciliations.

- Ensure compliance with KYC, AML, PCI-DSS, SOX, Basel III, GDPR.

- Prepare test plans, cases, and reports; execute functional, regression, smoke/sanity, and API testing.

- Manage defects, perform RCA, and publish test metrics and dashboards.

- Mentor team members and collaborate with BA, engineering, and compliance teams in Agile environments
