About the Role :

We're looking for a highly skilled Senior QA to manage the quality, stability, and performance of our mobile and web applications in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. Our products serve diverse user personas across B2C and B2B segments, demanding exceptional reliability and seamless user experience.

As a Senior QA, you will own the quality function across multiple development squads, streamline QA processes, improve engineering delivery velocity, enhance build quality, and lead test automation initiatives across both iOS and Android platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Quality Strategy & Ownership :

- Define, implement, and continuously improve QA processes, standards, and best practices across teams.

- Drive test planning, test coverage strategies, and release readiness criteria.

- Partner closely with engineering, product, and design teams to embed quality early and continuously across software development lifecycle.

Automation Leadership :

- Lead the development and maintenance of automation test suites using Selenium (and/or Appium, or other relevant frameworks).

- Architect scalable automation pipelines for mobile application testing.

- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD workflows to improve release velocity and reliability.

- Experience with app performance testing and monitoring tools

Hands-on Exploratory Testing :

- Perform deep exploratory testing for complex mobile flows across both iOS and Android apps.

- Validate user journeys for both B2C and B2B personas and ensure high-quality end-to-end experiences.

- Experience with testing backend APIs using tools like Postman or automated API test frameworks.

- Own regression, sanity, smoke, and compatibility testing across devices and OS versions.

Process Improvement & Collaboration :

- Analyze quality metrics, defect patterns, and bottlenecks to continuously improve build quality.

- Facilitate root-cause analysis and guide engineering teams toward preventive action.

- Ensure consistent documentation, test cases, and test data management.

Leadership & Mentorship :

- Mentor junior QA engineers and guide them in best practices.

- Promote a culture of quality across engineering and product teams.

- Act as a key stakeholder in release management and sign-off.

Requirements :

- 5+ years of experience in QA engineering, with significant focus on mobile application testing (iOS + Android).

- Strong command of test automation frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, Playwright, or similar.

- Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines, build systems, and QA integration with DevOps.

- Hands-on experience with creating test plans, test cases, and test data for end-to-end mobile applications.

- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.

- Experience working in fast-paced startup or high-growth environments.

- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

- Availability to work on-site in Ahmedabad.

Nice to Have :

- Experience with mobile build performance management (e.g., identifying and debugging crashes, memory leaks, or UI slowdowns using diagnostic tools).

- Ability to implement emerging QA trends such as AI-assisted testing or self-healing automation frameworks.

- Background in mobility, logistics, or other two/three sided marketplace businesses.

- Prior experience contributing to QA processes and enabling QA best practices at amature startup or a high-growth company.
