Senior Quality Assurance Engineer - Automation Testing

Description :

As a Senior QA Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and executing test strategies, building and maintaining automation frameworks, performing end-to-end functional and regression testing, and ensuring seamless integration of test suites within CI/CD pipelines. You will also work cross-functionally to identify defects, improve test coverage, and enhance overall product quality.

Responsibilities :

- Create, maintain, and execute end-to-end functional and regression test cases.

- Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using Playwright (TypeScript /JavaScript).

- Perform API testing, component testing, and contract testing.

- Integrate and maintain automated test suites within CI/CD pipelines.

- Identify, document, and track defects; collaborate with developers for quick resolution.

- Prepare clear and detailed test reports with actionable insights.

- Mentor junior QA engineers and participate in test planning, estimation, and strategy

discussions.

- Communicate findings and quality updates to stakeholders effectively.

Requirements :

- 4+ years of experience in functional and automation testing, along with framework

development.

- Proven expertise in end-to-end functional testing, test planning, and defect management.

- Strong proficiency in Playwright with TypeScript/JavaScript.

- Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems.

- Solid experience with API, component, contract, and UI automation testing.

- Familiarity with test management tools like Jira and X-ray.

- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a distributed global team.

Good-to-Have Skills :

- Experience with performance testing tools (e. g., JMeter), accessibility testing, or security

testing tools (e. g., OWASP ZAP, BurpSuite).

- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.

- Understanding of Agile methodologies and collaborative development practices.

- Experience with low-code/no-code test automation tools (e. g., AccelQ).

- Working knowledge of SQL for database validation and testing.
