Senior Quality Assurance Engineer

Description :

As a Senior QA Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the functional and technical quality of our healthcare platform. You will perform end-to-end manual and automated testing across web and API layers, collaborating closely with Product, Development, and DevOps teams. You'll also contribute to enhancing automation coverage using Selenium WebDriver (Java) and API automation frameworks, while maintaining high compliance and data integrity standards required in healthcare software.

Responsibilities :

- Design, execute, and maintain manual and automated test cases for web and API components.

- Perform API testing and automation using tools like Postman, Rest Assured, or similar.

- Validate complex healthcare workflows - eligibility, authorization, claims, billing, EMR data,

etc.

- Collaborate with Product Managers and Developers to review requirements and define clear

acceptance criteria.

- Conduct functional, regression, integration, and UAT testing for new and existing product

features.

- Identify, document, and track defects using JIRA and ensure proper root cause analysis.

- Maintain test data, test documentation, and ensure traceability across all test activities.

- Participate in Product walkthroughs, daily stand-ups.

- Actively contribute to QA process improvements and automation strategy.

Requirements :

- 6+ years of QA experience with strong exposure to manual and automation testing.

- Hands-on experience in Selenium WebDriver with Java and understanding of POM / Hybrid frameworks.

- Experience with API testing and automation using Postman, Rest Assured, or similar tools.

- Good understanding of SDLC, STLC, Defect Lifecycle, and Agile processes.

- Strong analytical and debugging skills with attention to detail.

- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

- Highly proactive, self-driven, and ownership-oriented.

- Understanding of healthcare workflows such as patient scheduling, eligibility verification,

authorization, claims submission, and EDI transactions.

- Awareness of HIPAA compliance and data privacy/security standards.

Good to Have :

- Knowledge of SQL and the ability to validate data at the database level.

- Experience with performance or security testing tools.
