We are seeking a highly skilled Senior QA Engineer (Automation) with strong expertise in test strategy, functional validation, and automation frameworks. The ideal candidate will possess excellent analytical skills, hands-on programming experience, and the ability to deliver high-quality solutions in fast-paced, dynamic environments.

Requirements :

- 5+ years of experience in QA with a strong focus on automation testing

- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as : TypeScript / JavaScript (preferred) along with Java or any object-oriented programming language (good to have)

- Hands-on experience in at least two of the following areas :

1. UI Automation

2. API Testing

3. Performance/Load Testing

- Experience with tools and frameworks such as :

1. Playwright / Selenium

2. Postman / REST Assured

3. JMeter / Locust or equivalent

- Solid understanding of test design techniques, QA methodologies, and SDLC/STLC

- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environment

Key Responsibilities :

- Architect and maintain scalable automation frameworks using Playwright and Selenium to reduce regression testing cycles and improve release velocity.

- Develop comprehensive test suites for RESTful APIs to validate backend integrity and data consistency across microservices.

- Execute performance testing protocols to identify system latency and scalability constraints under high-load scenarios.

- Collaborate with developers to integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines, ensuring continuous quality assurance throughout the software development lifecycle.

- Mentor junior team members on best practices for test script development and code quality to elevate the overall engineering standards of the department.
