Role Overview :

As a Senior QA Automation Engineer specializing in Playwright and AWS, you will be instrumental in driving the quality assurance strategy and execution for our critical cloud-based applications. This role involves leading the design, development, and maintenance of advanced automation frameworks, ensuring comprehensive test coverage, and integrating testing seamlessly into our continuous delivery pipelines. You will collaborate closely with development, DevOps, and product teams to uphold the highest standards of software quality, directly impacting user satisfaction and the reliability of our platforms.

Key Responsibilities :

- Architect, develop, and maintain robust and scalable automation frameworks using Playwright and Selenium for web, API, and mobile applications.

- Design and implement automated test scripts in Java, incorporating BDD methodologies with Cucumber to ensure alignment with business requirements.

- Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub, enabling continuous testing and rapid feedback loops.

- Lead the testing efforts for applications deployed on AWS, ensuring optimal performance, security, and scalability in cloud environments.

- Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to troubleshoot complex issues, identify root causes, and drive resolutions for production and pre-production environments.

- Conduct thorough database testing using SQL to validate data integrity, consistency, and accuracy across various systems.

- Drive the adoption of best practices in automation testing, mentor junior team members, and contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes.

- Evaluate and recommend new automation tools and technologies to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness.

- Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis to deployment and post-release validation.

- Ensure comprehensive test coverage and report on key quality metrics to stakeholders, providing actionable insights for product improvement.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated expertise with 8-15 years of progressive experience in QA Automation, with a strong focus on building and maintaining automation frameworks.

- Profound hands-on experience with Playwright Testing and Selenium WebDriver for automating web and API tests.

- Exceptional proficiency in Java programming for developing and extending automation frameworks and test scripts.

- Solid understanding and practical application of BDD Cucumber for defining and executing test scenarios.

- Extensive experience with AWS services relevant to application deployment, testing, and monitoring (e.g., EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS).

- Strong command of SQL for database testing, data validation, and complex query writing.

- Proven ability to implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub for continuous integration and continuous deployment.

- Deep knowledge of various Automation Testing Tools and methodologies, with a focus on efficiency and scalability.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality.
