Senior Quality Assurance Automation Engineer - API/UI Testing

About the Role :

Key Responsibilities (KRA) :

- Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts for API and UI testing

- Collaborate closely with development teams to ensure high test coverage and early bug detection

- Review and analyze system specifications and requirements for completeness and testability

- Implement best practices in test automation and contribute to continuous improvements

- Perform load and performance testing using JMeter or equivalent tools

- Monitor test results, debug failures, and report bugs with detailed logs and analysis

- Participate in Agile ceremonies and provide quality input for sprint planning and retrospectives

- Maintain test data and test environments for consistent testing processes

- Ensure traceability of test cases to requirements and prepare relevant documentation

- Provide mentorship and support to junior QA team members when needed

Required Skillsets :

- Proficient in tools like Postman and JMeter

- Solid hands-on experience with UI Automation using Selenium with C# or Java

- Strong working knowledge of Databases - NoSQL (preferred) and SQL

- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams

- Understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

- Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced Agile environment
