Senior Quality Assurance Analyst

Job Summary :

We are seeking an experienced Senior QA Analyst with a strong background in Corporate Banking, specializing in AML compliance, Fraud Risk Management (FRM), SWIFT messaging, and Treasury & Forex deal processing. The ideal candidate should also have hands-on experience in Manual Testing across banking applications and platforms.

Key responsibilities :

- Understand business requirements FSD and BRD documents.

- Understand business requirements related to AML, FRM, SWIFT, Treasury, and Forex operations.

- Perform detailed manual testing of corporate banking applications and workflows.

- Validate end-to-end processes including fund transfers, deal booking, settlements, and confirmations.

- Perform regression testing, functional testing, and integration testing.

- Design and execute test scenarios and test cases aligned with compliance and risk management protocols.

- Work closely with development and business teams to resolve defects and ensure quality

releases.

- Analyse SWIFT messages (MT formats) and validate message flow between systems.

- Test AML rule engines and transaction monitoring systems.

- Validate treasury functions including FX spot/forward deals, swaps, and MM instruments.

- Create test data aligned with real-world banking scenarios and regulatory standards.

- Strong knowledge in API Testing using POSTMAN, SOAP UI.

Required Skills & Experience :

- Strong understanding of AML frameworks and transaction monitoring systems.

- Good exposure to FRM practices, including credit risk, market risk, and operational risk.

- Hands-on experience in validating SWIFT messages (MT103, MT202, MT940, etc.).

- Deep knowledge of Treasury operations and Forex deal flows.

- Proficient in preparing test strategies, test cases, defect logging, and tracking.

- Familiarity with JIRA, ALM/Quality Center, or similar test management tools.

- Strong analytical and communication skills.

- Good to have Agile methodology.

Qualification :

- Bachelors degree in Engineering or equivalent
