Position Overview :

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Quality Analyst to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced development environment. The ideal candidate will have expertise in manual testing, API testing, SQL, and strong understanding of the insurance domain.

In this role, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our cutting-edge commercial property insurance software product. Proficiency in functional and API automation using tool like Rest Assured or Selenium will be significant advantage. The role requires proactive, detailed-oriented professional with a positive attitude towards work and continuous learning.

Key Responsibilities :

Testing Expertise :

- Perform manual testing across multiple related products, ensuring functionality, performance, and reliability

- Conduct API testing ensuring seamless integration between systems.

- Design and execute API test using various testing tools and techniques (e.g. Postman,SOAPUI)

- Write and execute complex SQL queries to validate data accuracy and integrity in the database.

- Analyze and troubleshoot database-related issues.

- Collaborate closely with business and developers to understand product requirements and technical specifications.

- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for various software features and functionalities.

- Identify, document, and track defects using bug tracking system.

- Effectively communicate testing progress, issues, and risks to the developers and stakeholders
- Contribute to the enhancement of testing process, tools, and frameworks.

- Partner with cross-functional teams, including developers, product owners, and business team, to clarify requirement and deliver high-quality product.

- Share knowledge through training sessions, documentation, and peer mentoring to up lift team capabilities.

- Manage priorities and multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.

- Adapt to changing requirements and work on multiple interconnected products simultaneously.

- Stay up to date with the latest testing methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

- Strong attention to detail and results-oriented approach.

- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Domain Expertise :

- Leverage expertise in insurance to understand product requirement and develop effective test suites.

- Collaborate with business to ensure test coverage align with business scenarios and goals.

Test Automation (Added Advantage) :

- Develop and maintain automated test script for functional and API tests and testautomation framework.

- Familiarity with end-to-end automation frameworks.

- Contribute to CI/CD pipeline.

Qualifications :

- Bachelors degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.

- 4+ Years of experience in software testing, with a focus on manual testing, API testing and SQL.

- Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries for data validation.

- Positive attitude with willingness to learn and grow in a collaborative environment.

- Experience in test management tool like Jira, Azure DevOps, or equivalent.

- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

- Experience in working in fast-paced development environment.

- Ability to handle multiple products and adapt quickly to changes.
