Senior Quality Analyst - Automation Testing

Description :

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quality Analyst Lead with 6+ years of experience in software testing. The role involves taking ownership of test strategy, quality processes, and hands-on execution, while also contributing to the overall improvement of QA practices and guiding others in adopting best standards.

Key Responsibilities :

- Define and implement test strategies, frameworks, and processes to improve software quality.

- Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases for web, mobile, and API-based applications.

- Perform different type of testing (Regression, API, etc.).

- Build and maintain automation frameworks using tools.

- Validate data and business logic through SQL queries and backend testing.

- Identify, track, and manage defects using bug tracking tools (Jira, Bugzilla, Trello).

- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and business analysts to align testing with requirements.

- Provide guidance to QA team members on testing approaches, tools, and best practices.

- Track and report quality metrics, risks, and release readiness.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Education : Bachelors/Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- 6+ years of professional experience in software testing.

- Strong knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).

- Proven expertise in manual testing, automation testing and API testing.

- Proficiency in SQL queries for database validation.

- Experience in mobile application testing.

- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with CI/CD tools

- Relevant certifications in Quality Assurance are a plus.
