As a QAD Techno-Functional Consultant, your role at the Adaptive ERP (AERP) 2024 level shifts from being a "developer" to a "solution architect" who bridges the gap between traditional Progress 4GL and the new Agentic AI and No-Code/Low-Code paradigms.

To lead the transition from legacy QAD (EE/SE) to the AERP 2024 ecosystem, leveraging Champion AI and Adaptive UX to drive "System of Action" business outcomes.

Responsibilities :

Strategic Functional Leadership :

- AERP 2024 Implementation : Lead end-to-end global implementations and migrations of QAD Adaptive ERP, specifically focusing on the latest 2024 enhancements.

- Domain Expertise : Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in at least two core functional areas : Distribution, Manufacturing, or Financials, with specific expertise in AERP 2024's new Production Scheduling and Warehouse Management System (WMS).

- AI Integration : Identify opportunities to deploy Champion AI agents for inventory optimization, costing analysis, and automated product classification.

Advanced Technical Engineering :

- Modernization : Shift legacy Progress 4GL/ABL customizations to Non-Intrusive Customizations using the Integrated Customization Toolkit (ICT) and Adaptive Development.

- Integration Architect : Design complex data flows using QXtend, QAD APIs, and Boomi/MuleSoft to connect QAD with external ecosystems.

- Reporting & Analytics : Develop high-impact visualizations using Action Centers, KPIs, and the QAD Reporting Framework (QRF), ensuring real-time data visibility.

Business Transformation & Mentorship :

- Process Optimization : Conduct "Current State vs. Future State" workshops to align business processes with AERP 2024 "best practices.

- Change Management : Mentor junior consultants and lead user training for the Adaptive UX (HTML5) interface to ensure high adoption rates.

Required Skills :

- QAD Core : QAD Adaptive ERP (2020.1 2024), QAD EE, QAD SE, Adaptive UX.

- Champion AI (Agentic AI), Advanced Scheduling, Embedded WMS.

- Technical : Progress ABL (4GL), Linux/Unix, OpenEdge DB, SQL, ICT.

- Integration : QXtend (Inbound/Outbound), REST/SOAP APIs, Boomi, EDI.

- Tools : Excelerator, Browse Development, QRF, MSW/PSW, Action Centers.

Qualifications :

- Experience : Minimum 8 years in QAD consulting, with at least 3 years in Adaptive ERP/UX environments.

- Certifications (Highly Preferred) :

- QAD Adaptive ERP Platform Developer.

- QAD Cloud/AERP Functional Certification (Manufacturing or Financials).

- Effective On-Boarding (EOB) Certification.

- Industry Knowledge : Deep understanding of regulated industries such as Automotive (MMOG/LE), Life Sciences (FDA compliance), or High Tech.
