Job Description :

We're looking for a Senior QA Engineer who can own quality across our entire platform - mobile app (React Native on iOS and Android), backend APIs (Java Spring Boot), and end-to-end fintech flows including payments, wallets, and crypto transactions. You'll build the automation foundation from the ground up, define QA processes, and be the last line of defence before anything reaches our users.

This is not a checkbox-testing role. We need someone who thinks adversarially, moves fast, and cares deeply about what goes out the door.

What You'll Do :

- Own end-to-end QA across the mobile app (iOS + Android) and backend services

- Design, build, and maintain automated test suites - API, mobile UI, and integration tests

- Test critical fintech flows: payments, crypto transactions, wallet operations, KYC, onboarding, and edge cases that matter in financial products

- Work closely with engineers during development to catch issues early

- Define and document test plans, test cases, and regression suites

- Set up and maintain QA infrastructure and CI/CD integration for automated test runs

- Identify, log, and track bugs with clear reproduction steps and severity assessment

- Perform exploratory testing, especially around security, data integrity, and financial accuracy

- Establish QA standards and processes as the team and product scales

What We're Looking For :

Must-have :

- 4- 7 years of experience in QA engineering, with a strong focus on automation

- Hands-on experience writing automated tests for REST APIs - tools like Postman, RestAssured, or similar

- Experience with mobile test automation on both iOS and Android (Appium, Detox, or equivalent)

- Ability to read and understand Java/Spring Boot code to write better tests and debug failures, you don't need to build features, but you can't be afraid of the codebase

- Solid understanding of testing fundamentals: test design, boundary conditions, negative testing, regression strategy

- Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar)

- Strong bug reporting and documentation skills

Nice-to-have :

- Prior experience testing fintech, payments, or crypto/Web3 applications

- Familiarity with financial edge cases - transaction reconciliation, idempotency, partial failures, retry logic

- Experience with performance or load testing (JMeter, k6, Gatling)

- Exposure to security testing concepts - OWASP, API security, sensitive data handling

- Experience building QA processes from scratch at an early-stage startup
