Position Overview :

We are seeking an experienced SDET with 4- 6 years of hands-on experience in Java-based test automation.

The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in API automation (Rest Assured), UI automation (Selenium WebDriver), and mobile automation (Appium with Java).

Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and Katalon Studio will be an added advantage.

This role requires strong technical, analytical, and communication skills, along with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Roles And Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain API automation frameworks using Java + Rest Assured.

- Build, enhance, and execute UI automation scripts using Selenium WebDriver.

- Develop and execute mobile automation for Android/iOS platforms using Appium + Java.

- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab, etc.)

- Collaborate closely with Development and Product teams to ensure high-quality releases.

- Perform functional, regression, and integration testing.

- Troubleshoot automation failures, perform root-cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.

Must-Have Skills :

- Strong proficiency in Java with experience in building automation frameworks.

- Hands-on experience with API automation using Rest Assured.

- Solid experience in UI automation using Selenium WebDriver.

- Mobile automation experience using Appium + Java.

- Familiarity with Katalon Studio (good to have).

- Experience with TestNG/JUnit, Maven/Gradle, Git, and version-control workflows.

- Good understanding of CI/CD practices and integrating automated tests into pipelines.

- Excellent analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, and communication skills.

Good-to-Have Skills :

- Exposure to performance testing tools.

- Experience with Docker/Kubernetes.

- Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
