You wont just be clearing Jira tickets; you will own the design, architecture, and deployment of critical microservices that drive our business forward.

What You Will Own & Drive :

- Architecture & API Design : Design and build lightning-fast, highly concurrent microservices using Python 3.10+ and FastAPI. You will champion a contract-first approach, delivering pristine API documentation (OpenAPI/Swagger).

- Performance & Scale : Mastermind our asynchronous I/O operations and database interactions. You will design scalable relational schemas, tune queries, and manage asynchronous migrations using PostgreSQL, SQLAlchemy 2.0, and Alembic.

- Cloud & Infrastructure : Take ownership of how your code runs in the wild. You will containerize applications with Docker, manage multi-stage builds, and deploy to the cloud using Terraform and robust CI/CD pipelines.

- Quality & Craftsmanship : Set the gold standard for engineering in the team. You will drive rigorous testing (Pytest), enforce type safety (MyPy, Pydantic v2), and ensure our code is secure and observable (Prometheus, OpenTelemetry).

- GenAI Innovation : Act as a pioneer within the team by interfacing with LLMs (OpenAI, Anthropic) and leveraging agentic frameworks (LangChain, LangGraph) to build intelligent, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems.

What You Bring to the Table :

- Experience : 5+ years of dedicated core backend engineering using Python.

- Framework Mastery : Deep, production-level expertise with FastAPI and asynchronous programming (asyncio).

- Database Fluency : Proven ability to handle complex data modeling and performance tuning in PostgreSQL.

- DevOps Mindset : You are completely comfortable in modern cloud environments, Docker, and CI/CD workflows. You believe in "you build it, you run it."

- Leadership : You possess an ownership mentality, excellent problem-solving instincts, and a track record of mentoring junior engineers and raising the bar for the whole team.
