Senior Python Quality Assurance Engineer

About the Opportunity :

We are hiring a Senior Python QA Engineer to join its high-performing QA automation team in Pune. This role is perfect for professionals with a solid background in Python-based test automation, API testing, and quality assurance in agile software development environments. You will be working on robust automation frameworks for enterprise applications and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure software quality at scale.

Key Responsibilities :

Automation Scripting & Framework Development

- Design and develop test scripts using Python

- Build and maintain scalable, reusable, and robust automation frameworks

API Testing & Validation

- Perform functional and regression testing of RESTful APIs

- Automate end-to-end API scenarios and validate data responses

Test Planning & Execution

- Create detailed test plans, test cases, and test data

- Ensure full test coverage and drive defect tracking and resolution

CI/CD & DevOps Collaboration

- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines

- Collaborate with DevOps and development teams to maintain test environments

Desired Skills :

- Proficiency in Python for test automation

- Hands-on experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, REST Assured, or similar)

- Experience in developing and maintaining automation frameworks

- Familiarity with Selenium, Pytest, or other test tools

- Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins, Git, and Agile/Scrum methodologies

Education :

UG : B.Tech/B.E. in Computer Science, IT, Electronics or related fields

PG : Preferred M.Tech / MCA
