Role Overview:

As a Senior Python Engineer, you will be at the heart of our engineering organization, architecting and scaling high-performance backend systems that power our core product offerings. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, frontend engineers, and data scientists, to translate complex business requirements into robust, maintainable technical solutions. Key Responsibilities:

- Design and implement scalable microservices using Python frameworks to ensure high availability and low latency for our global user base.

- Optimize complex database queries and schema designs in PostgreSQL to enhance data retrieval performance and system efficiency.

- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and asynchronous services, ensuring seamless integration across distributed system components.

- Lead the containerization and orchestration of applications using Docker and Kubernetes to streamline deployment pipelines and environment consistency.

- Mentor junior engineers through rigorous code reviews and architectural discussions to foster a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning.

- Collaborate with stakeholders to refine system requirements, ensuring that technical deliverables align with long-term product roadmaps and business objectives.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrated mastery in Python development, with deep expertise in frameworks such as Django, Flask, and FastAPI for building enterprise-grade applications.

- Strong command over Data Structures and Algorithms, with the ability to write clean, efficient, and highly optimized code for high-traffic environments.

- Proven experience in managing caching strategies and session management using Redis to improve application responsiveness.

- Exceptional problem-solving skills with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively.

- Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment across Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai, or Pune, with a focus on delivering high-quality software in a hybrid or office-based setting.

- A solid foundation in computer science principles, typically evidenced by a degree in Engineering or a related technical field, combined with 6 to 10 years of hands-on experience in backend development.
