Job Summary :

We are looking for an experienced Senior Python Developer with 7+ years of professional experience to join our development team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Python, Django, Flask, and FastAPI, with a solid understanding of backend development, REST APIs, databases, and scalable application design.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Python.

- Develop robust web applications and RESTful APIs using Django, Flask, and FastAPI.

- Design and implement high-performance and secure APIs.

- Collaborate with frontend developers, QA engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders.

- Write clean, maintainable, reusable, and well-documented code.

- Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding and development standards.

- Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.

- Integrate third-party APIs and external services.

- Work with databases and optimize queries for better performance.

- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production and application issues.

- Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to technical decisions.

- Develop unit and integration tests to ensure application quality.

- Follow Agile/Scrum methodologies and participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.

Required Skills :

- 7+ years of hands-on experience in Python development.

- Strong proficiency in Python programming.

- Excellent experience with Django, Flask, and FastAPI.

- Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.

- Experience with SQL databases such as PostgreSQL/MySQL.

- Good understanding of ORM concepts, preferably Django ORM/SQLAlchemy.

- Experience with Git and version control systems.

- Good understanding of unit testing and API testing.

- Strong knowledge of software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies.

- Experience with debugging, performance optimization, and production support.

Good to Have :

- Experience with AWS/Azure/GCP.

- Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.

- Experience with CI/CD pipelines.

- Knowledge of Redis, Celery, or RabbitMQ.

- Experience working with microservices and distributed systems.

- Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments.

Education :

- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
