Senior Python Automation Test Engineer.

Industry & Sector: IT Services & Software Quality Assurance delivering enterprise software testing, automation frameworks, and QA consulting for cloud-native and web-scale applications across domains (SaaS, FinTech, Healthcare, and Enterprise Systems).

This role sits at the intersection of test engineering, DevOps-driven CI/CD, and product-quality ownership.

Location & Work Model: India (Hybrid).

Role & Responsibilities :

- Design, build, and maintain scalable Python-based test automation frameworks and reusable libraries to validate web and API products.

- Author robust automated test suites (UI & API) using pytest and Selenium WebDriver; implement data-driven and parameterized tests for broad coverage.

- Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins/GitLab CI), enable scheduled and gated test runs, and automate test reporting and artifact publishing.

- Collaborate with developers, product owners, and SREs to triage defects, define acceptance criteria, and shift-left testing into early development stages.

- Implement API testing strategies using Requests/Postman collections, validate contract and integration behaviour, and automate end-to-end scenarios.

- Drive test reliability: maintain test data sets, implement parallel execution, flaky-test handling, and produce actionable test metrics and dashboards.

Must-Have :

Preferred :

- Playwright.

- Allure Test Report.

Additional Qualifications :

- 5+ years of hands-on experience in automation testing or QA engineering with demonstrable project work and test artifacts.

- Proven experience integrating automation into CI/CD pipelines and working in Agile/Scrum delivery teams.

- Strong troubleshooting skills, test design thinking, and experience mentoring junior testers.
