About the Role :

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of our Digital Lending product. This role demands a leader who can bring structure, discipline, and predictability to execution across multiple parallel tracks. The ideal candidate will be equally comfortable managing delivery governance, communicating with senior banking stakeholders, and driving internal teams toward a high-performance culture.

Roles and Responsibilities :

- Own end-to-end planning and execution across multiple streams/pods.

- Define and manage project roadmaps, milestones, dependencies, and deliverables.

- Drive accountability and discipline within teams, ensuring a culture of on-time, high-quality delivery.

- Act as the primary liaison with stakeholders, ensuring proactive and transparent communication.

- Provide real-time project visibility through dashboards, reports, and stakeholder updates.

- Identify, assess, and manage project risks and issues with clear mitigation and escalation plans.

- Balance business priorities with delivery constraints to maintain trust and long-term engagement.

- Analyse gaps in planning/execution and implement best practices across Agile (Scrum/Kanban) and Waterfall models.

- Establish and maintain project governance frameworks, reporting structures, and performance metrics.

- Act as the primary liaison with the client, providing regular updates, managing expectations, addressing concerns, and maintaining a strong working relationship throughout the project lifecycle.

- Lead end-to-end delivery of BFSI projects, preferably within the Digital Lending domain, ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory compliance.

- Conduct scrum calls on alternate days or daily, as needed, to drive execution, resolve impediments, and ensure transparency across all involved teams.

- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teamsincluding developers, testers, and other stakeholdersto ensure smooth project execution and timely delivery.

Required Skills & Experience

- Experience : 10+ years overall, with 45 years in project management roles, preferably in enterprise banking or fintech delivery.

- Domain Expertise : Lending background is required; microfinance exposure is preferred.

- Execution Prowess : Proven success in multi-track orchestration across the engineering team.

- Technical Acumen : Strong conceptual understanding of APIs and cloud architecture able to facilitate discussions between business and technical teams.

- Risk & Governance : Hands-on with risk management, reporting, and client governance structures.

- Communication : Excellent verbal and written skills; ability to simplify complexity for non-technical stakeholders.

- Methodologies : Experienced in Agile and Waterfall, with the ability to adapt per project needs.

- Tools : Proficiency in Jira, Confluence, and project reporting dashboards.

Educational Qualifications : Bachelors degree Technology or related field is required.
