Senior Programmer Analyst - VisionPLUS Development

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain applications using VisionPLUS FAS module.

- Work extensively on Mainframe technologies including COBOL, JCL, VSAM, and CICS.

- Perform system analysis, design, coding, testing, and implementation based on project requirements.

- Support VisionPLUS batch and online processing, including batch windows, after-hours processing, and update cycles.

- Utilize authorization simulators for testing and validation.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth delivery and system performance.

- Use Changeman or Endeavor for version control and deployment management.

- Prepare and share daily status reports and communicate effectively with stakeholders.

- Participate in Agile ceremonies and adhere to SDLC processes.

- Ensure timely issue resolution, proactive problem identification, and quality code delivery.

- Be flexible to work in shifts as required.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 3- 5 years of hands-on experience in VisionPLUS development, specifically in the FAS module.

- Strong development skills in Mainframe technologies : COBOL, JCL, VSAM, and CICS.

- Good understanding of VisionPLUS architecture, including both batch and online components.

- Familiarity with authorization simulators and after-hours processing concepts.

- Working knowledge of REXX and Eazytrieve (preferred).

- Experience with Changeman or Endeavor version control tools.

- Knowledge of additional VisionPLUS modules such as TRAMS, CTA, or LTS is an advantage.

- Solid grasp of SDLC and Agile methodologies.

- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.

- Strong verbal and written communication skills.

- Proactive, adaptable, and a strong team player.
