ABOUT THE ROLE :

Were looking for a Senior Product Manager to own the company's payments product roadmap. Youll work at the intersection of product, business, engineering, and compliance to define what gets built, sequence it smartly, and ship it with precision. A big part of this role is driving integrations with third-party networks, banking systems within GIFT City, and SWIFT infrastructure, turning complex financial plumbing into seamless product experiences for clients.

WHAT YOULL DO :

- Own the end-to-end payments product roadmap from problem discovery through launch and iteration.

- Lead the product definition and execution for GIFT City payment infrastructure, foreign currency collections, outward remittances, and cross-account transfer flows.

- Drive integrations with third-party payment networks, SWIFT, and banking systems within GIFT City, translating technical integration complexity into clean product specifications.

- Work closely with engineering, design, compliance, and business teams to define requirements, prioritise ruthlessly, and ship with precision.

- Deep-dive into user research, partner conversations, and transaction data to understand the real friction clients face in cross-border banking.

- Define and track the right metrics, activation, conversion, transaction success rates, drop-offs and use them to drive decisions.

- Manage relationships with payment network partners, banking partners, and ecosystem players to unlock new product capabilities.

- Identify and evaluate new product opportunities, new payment corridors, new rails, new financial products and build the business case for them.

MUST-HAVE SKILLS :

- Payments depth : Hands-on product experience building payment systems at an Indian fintech, neobanks, payment gateways, payment processors, or remittance platforms. Youve shipped payment products and understand how the rails work end-to-end.

- Third-party integrations : Experience driving product integrations with banking systems, payment networks, or financial infrastructure providers writing specs, managing API dependencies, and owning integration roadmaps.

- Data-driven decision making : Comfortable defining success metrics, running funnel analysis, and making product calls backed by data.

- Stakeholder management : Ability to work across engineering, business, compliance, and external partners translating between technical and non-technical contexts fluently.

- Writing and clarity : Strong product documentation PRDs, user stories, and business cases that engineering and leadership can act on.

GOOD TO HAVE :

- Familiarity with SWIFT messaging, international wire flows, and how outward/inward remittance systems are built and operated.

- Experience with cross-border payment products or NRI-facing financial services.

- Knowledge of FEMA, RBI guidelines, and the regulatory landscape around NRI banking and remittances.

- Familiarity with GIFT Citys regulatory framework and the IFSCA ecosystem.

- Understanding of global payment corridors - US-India, UK-India, Middle East-India.

- Exposure to wealth management, investment, or lending products in the Indian fintech context.

QUALIFICATIONS :

- 4 to 7 years of product management experience, with at least 2 to 3 years specifically in payments or fintech at an Indian startup.

- Bachelors or Masters in Engineering, Business, Finance, or equivalent, strong analytical foundation.

- Track record of owning products from 0?1 and iterating them to scale.
