Their platform simplifies cloud management, cost optimization, governance, and compliance across multi-cloud environments, delivering measurable value to DevOps, IT, and Cloud Ops teams.

BRIEF ABOUT THE ROLE :

My Client is looking for a highly skilled Senior Platform Engineer to take the reins of our cloud platform architecture and implementation. This is a pivotal role for a seasoned or experienced technologist who brings deep expertise in cloud-native development, someone who thrives in Python development, has strong expertise in AWS, and has a passion for building scalable, secure, and event-driven SaaS platforms.

JOB DETAILS :

1. Job Title : Senior Platform Engineer | Platform Development : Python + AWS| Serverless Architecture & Microservices Architecture

2. Experience Required : 5 to 10 Years

3. Reporting To : Principal Platform Engineer

4. Major Skills and Experience Required in : Python | AWS | Serverless | SaaS | Cloud Platforms

5. Notice Period : Up to 45 Days

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

- Architect & Build scalable, secure, and efficient platform modules aligned with company vision and business goals.

- Lead end-to-end implementation of platform solutions across development, testing, and deployment stages.

- Mentor and guide platform engineers, conducting code reviews and enabling skill development.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, UI/UX, and DevOps to deliver seamless platform capabilities.

- Stay ahead of the curve on cloud tech, ensuring our platform remains future-ready and innovative.

- Ensure reliability and compliance through rigorous testing, observability, and adherence to best security practices.

- Contribute to setting the technical strategy and vision in close partnership with senior engineering leadership.

DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERTISE :

Must Have :

A) Expert in Python, with a focus on writing production-grade, scalable code. Strong Backend Development

Preferably in Python (FastAPI, Flask, Django).

C) Proven success in designing and deploying SaaS platforms on AWS.

D) Deep understanding of AWS services (Lambda, DynamoDB, API Gateway, RDS, S3, etc.) and architectural best practices.

E) Demonstrated leadership in technology design, team mentorship, and project execution.

F) Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

NICE TO HAVE :

A) AWS certifications : Solutions Architect, Developer, or similar.

B) Experience with Boto3 SDK for AWS integrations.

C) Familiarity with Azure or GCP cloud ecosystems.

D) Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, or other container orchestration platforms.
