Job Title : Senior Platform Engineer API Management | Kubernetes | Service Mesh

We are looking for a strong Platform / Infrastructure Engineer with deep expertise in Kubernetes (K8s) and API gateways.

Key Skills :

- Strong hands-on expertise in Kubernetes cluster administration, deployment, scaling, and troubleshooting

- Experience with API Management platforms Apigee, Kong Inc. Kong, Gravitee

- Strong understanding of Ingress, API Gateway, and Service Mesh (Istio)

- Experience in containerized deployments, microservices architecture, and cloud-native platforms

- Expertise in high availability, load balancing, failover, and DR setup

- Strong experience in production support, incident management, RCA, and performance tuning

- Experience in CI/CD pipelines, automation, Infrastructure as Code, and DevOps tooling

- Monitoring and observability using Datadog, Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana

Responsibilities :

- Lead design and rollout of Kubernetes-based API platforms

- Manage and modernize API gateway infrastructure

- Implement secure, scalable, and resilient platform solutions

- Drive service mesh adoption and traffic management strategies

- Support platform upgrades across on-prem, hybrid, and cloud

- Collaborate with architects and engineering teams for modernization initiatives

- Mentor junior engineers and drive best practices
