About the Role :

We are looking for an experienced Senior Platform Engineer to join our team and contribute to designing, building, and maintaining secure, scalable, and reliable platform solutions. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise, a passion for automation, and the ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams.

Essential Skills & Experience :

- 8-12 years of relevant IT experience in platform engineering or related domains.

- Strong understanding of platform engineering concepts, automation, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions or TeamCity.

- Advanced experience with scripting/programming languages such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python.

- Good understanding of Windows and/or Linux server environments.

- Exposure to Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform, AWS CDK, CloudFormation, or Ansible.

- Interest or experience in containerisation and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.

- Willingness to learn and work with observability tools like Grafana and Prometheus.

- Exposure to a wide ecosystem of tools, languages, and frameworks (not mandatory to know all).

Educational Qualifications :

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering, preferably in Computer Science or Information Technology.

- Design, build, and operate secure, scalable, and reliable platform solutions.

- Develop and maintain automation for infrastructure provisioning and environment management.

- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to support platform needs across the organisation.

- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code and scripts.

- Proactively identify, troubleshoot, and resolve platform-related issues.

- Participate in incident management, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.

- Contribute to adoption and refinement of development best practices, tools, and processes.
