Senior Platform Engineer Role

The Senior Platform Engineer position requires hands-on work on one or more public cloud platforms, leveraging several PaaS services and marketplace services.

Key Responsibilities :

- Configuration, implementation, monitoring, and troubleshooting of platform components, which include networking, VMs, API management services, Application Gateways, Load Balancers, Kubernetes clusters, and more.

- Developing and running diagnostics tests to verify the correct design of platform components is also crucial.

- The individual must write code that bridges the gap between application and infrastructure using tools like Terraform and test the system to ensure it runs effectively and smoothly.

- The Senior Cloud Services Engineer utilizes software that manages and monitors networks, systems, and applications to guarantee performance to cloud software environments and orchestrate resource provisioning.

- Building, managing, and integrating software to automate and secure public cloud environments.

- Developing solutions that support large capacity and scale reliably in a 24/7 environment.

- Providing hands-on development and support to implement solutions and troubleshoot platform-related incidents and problems.

- Collaborating with Information Security operational teams to support monitoring capabilities.

- Utilizing deep technical knowledge to drive the delivery of scalable and secure network resources.

- Actively participating and contributing in design and architecture discussions, meetings, and workshops, providing feedback to improve our services and quality of the platform.

- Working with Architecture, Security, Infrastructure Services, and Application Development teams to choose appropriate technology solutions and facilitate complete integration into cloud environments.

- Maintaining knowledge of Public and Private Cloud related topics, including emerging technologies, market place services, industry best practices, and regulatory compliance concerns.

- Providing training, assistance, and guidance to other team members as needed
