About the Role :

We are seeking an experienced Senior Ping Federate Consultant with deep expertise in Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience with Ping Federate, Ping Access, and Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD). This role requires advanced knowledge of enterprise SSO (Single Sign-On) solutions and proven experience in designing, implementing, and migrating IAM platforms at scale.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, implement, and manage Ping Federate solutions to support enterprise-wide authentication and authorization needs.

- Provide expert-level support and configuration of Ping Federate servers, Ping Access, and related IAM components.

- Lead initiatives to migrate applications and users from Ping Federate to Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD).

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Security, Infrastructure, Cloud, and Application teams) to integrate applications with SSO and federation services.

- Develop and enforce security policies, authentication protocols, and compliance standards within IAM frameworks.

- Troubleshoot and resolve complex authentication, federation, and SSO-related issues.

- Document technical designs, implementation steps, and operational procedures.

- Mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance on IAM best practices.

Required Skills & Experience

- 12+ years of overall IT experience with a strong focus on Identity and Access Management (IAM).

- Deep expertise in Ping Federate and Ping Access, including design, configuration, and troubleshooting.

- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID (Azure Active Directory), including SSO, Conditional Access, MFA, and identity governance.

- Strong experience in SSO integration for cloud and on-premises applications.

- Proven track record of successfully migrating users and applications from Ping Federate to Microsoft Azure AD.

- Understanding of industry standards such as SAML, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, SCIM, and related federation protocols.

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.

- Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Relevant certifications such as Ping Identity Certified Professional, Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate, or equivalent.

- Experience working in enterprise-scale environments with hybrid identity solutions.

- Familiarity with security compliance frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR).
