Senior PHP Full Stack Developer

Position Overview :

We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Sr. PHP Fullstack Developer to join our remote team. The ideal candidate will have 6-10 years of professional experience with a strong command of both backend and frontend technologies. You will be a key player in developing, maintaining, and optimizing web applications, working on a shift-based schedule to collaborate with our global teams. This role requires a self-starter who can work independently, solve complex problems, and deliver high-quality, scalable solutions in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities :

Application Development :

- Lead the development, maintenance, and optimization of web applications using PHP with a focus on the Symfony Framework.

- Design, develop, and implement robust and scalable RESTful APIs to facilitate seamless integration with internal and third-party systems.

Fullstack Development :

- Work proficiently on both backend and frontend tasks, leveraging a strong skill set in HTML, CSS, and jQuery.

- Collaborate with designers and other developers to translate UI/UX designs into high-quality, responsive

code.

Database Management :

- Design and implement efficient database schemas in MySQL.

- Write and optimize complex database queries to ensure strong performance and data integrity.

Code Quality & Best Practices :

- Write clean, well-structured, and maintainable code adhering to industry best practices and coding standards.

- Conduct thorough code reviews and mentor junior developers to ensure code quality and consistency.

Collaboration & Communication :

- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other developers, to understand requirements and deliver high-quality, timely solutions.

Version Control & Deployment :

- Manage and maintain version control using GIT for collaborative development and code management.

- Troubleshoot and debug applications for performance and scalability issues.

Shift-Based Work :

- Work on a shift-based schedule from 6:00 PM to 3:00 AM IST to support our global operations and teams.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Experience : 6- 10 years of hands-on, professional experience as a Fullstack Developer.

Backend Expertise :

- Strong expertise in PHP, with significant experience using the Symfony Framework.

- Solid understanding of backend architecture, design patterns, and best practices.

Frontend Expertise :

- Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and jQuery.

- Knowledge of modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js) is a plus.

API & Integration :

- Proven experience in the development and integration of RESTful APIs.

Database Skills :

- Expert-level knowledge of MySQL, including database design, optimization, and query tuning.

Tools & Technologies :

- Proficiency in GIT for version control.

Soft Skills :

- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

- Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail.

- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote, shift-based environment.
