Key Responsibilities:

- Requirements analysis understand business/functional requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

- Take end-to-end ownership of requirements from analysis and design through development, testing, deployment, and post-release support.

- Design, develop, and maintain web applications using PHP and Laravel.

- Build, extend, and customize WordPress websites, plugins, and themes as required.

- Design and implement RESTful APIs for internal and external integrations.

- Write efficient, optimized MySQL queries and manage database schema design.

- Apply SOLID principles, design patterns, and OOP concepts to produce clean, scalable, and maintainable code.

- Participate in code reviews, and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices across the team.

- Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues in a timely manner.

- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to translate requirements into technical solutions.

- Work comfortably in an Ubuntu/Linux development environment.

- Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge-sharing within the team.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- Strong hands-on experience with PHP (senior-level proficiency).

- Good working knowledge of Laravel framework.

- Good working knowledge of WordPress (theme/plugin development, customization).

- Strong command of MySQL schema design, query optimization, indexing.

- Proven experience designing and consuming REST APIs.

- Solid understanding and practical application of:

1. SOLID principles.

2. Design patterns (e.g., Factory, Singleton, Repository, Strategy, etc.).

3. Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts.

- Comfortable working in an Ubuntu operating system environment.

- Strong understanding of standard software development practices (version control, coding standards, testing).

- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

Good to Have (Not Mandatory) :

- Experience with version control systems like Git.

- Familiarity with caching mechanisms (Redis, Memcached).

- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines.

- Experience with message queues (e.g., RabbitMQ, SQS).

- Prior experience mentoring junior developers.
