Senior Pega Tester as Contractor for IT Company

Job Description :

- Review business requirements, system requirements, and Pega design documents to derive test scenarios and test cases.

- Perform functional, regression, and integration testing for Pega features and enhancements.

- Validate workflows, rules, UI behaviour, decision tables, and case lifecycle within Pega.

- Test case creation and execution in tools like JIRA, ALM, Zephyr, or qTest.

- Participate in daily SCRUM calls, sprint planning, and demo reviews.

- Validate data integration with external systems via APIs, connectors, and services.

- Work with Pega developers to analyse defects and retest fixes.

- Ensure test traceability from requirements to defects.

- Support UAT and provide necessary testing evidence.

- Perform basic SQL queries for backend data validations.

- Contribute to test automation (if applicable) using Selenium, Pega Unit, or other automation frameworks.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 5+ years of hands-on experience in Pega testing within Agile environments.

- Strong understanding of Pega PRPC platform, rules, workflows, and integrations.

- Proficiency with test management tools (JIRA, ALM, Zephyr, qTest).

- Experience in API testing and data validation using SQL.

- Knowledge of automation testing tools and frameworks is an added advantage
