Job Title : Senior Oracle DBA with ADW & Migration Experience

Client : Deloitte

Location : Pune / Bangalore / Hyderabad (Hybrid)

Experience : Minimum 8 years

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Oracle Database Administrator with strong expertise in Oracle ADW (Autonomous Data Warehouse), GoldenGate Administration, and Database Migration activities. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in optimizing Oracle ADW performance, managing Oracle databases on OCI/Azure, and handling critical migration projects involving heterogeneous data sources (including MongoDB).

Key Responsibilities :

- Administer, monitor, and optimize Oracle Autonomous Data Warehouse (ADW) environments.

- Manage Oracle GoldenGate configurations for real-time replication and data synchronization.

- Lead database migration activities from on-premise to OCI/Azure Cloud and across heterogeneous systems (Oracle, MongoDB, etc.).

- Ensure database performance tuning, capacity planning, and high availability.

- Implement backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies for Oracle databases.

- Collaborate with application, data engineering, and cloud teams for smooth database operations.

- Troubleshoot database-related issues, ensuring minimal downtime and adherence to SLAs.

- Maintain compliance with security standards, patches, and upgrades.

Mandatory Skills :

- 8+ years as an Oracle DBA (administration, performance tuning, backup/recovery).

- 1+ years of proven experience on Oracle Autonomous Data Warehouse (ADW).

- Strong expertise in Oracle GoldenGate administration.

- Experience in DB migration projects (Oracle OCI, Azure; Oracle , MongoDB or similar).

- Hands-on experience with OCI (Oracle Cloud Infrastructure) and Azure Cloud.

- Strong knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL, and performance optimization techniques.

Good to Have :

- Experience with MongoDB administration.

- Exposure to Azure Synapse / Data Factory for data integration.

- Familiarity with DevOps practices for database CI/CD.
