Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain complex Oracle APEX applications and components (interactive reports, forms, charts, dynamic actions).

- Translate business requirements into scalable technical designs, data models, and APEX architectures.

- Develop high-quality SQL and PL/SQL (packages, procedures, functions, triggers) with strong attention to performance and maintainability.

- Implement RESTful API integrations (consume and expose) within APEX; build secure web service calls and handle JSON/XML payloads.

- Design and implement Oracle APEX Workflow-driven processes (approvals, escalations, SLAs), including workflow modeling, task assignments, notifications, and audit trails.

- Utilize Oracle APEX Collections and PL/SQL Collections for multi-row operations and wizard-like flows.

- Customize UI using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS; create reusable templates, themes, and dynamic actions.

- Optimize queries, indexes, and application performance; perform thorough performance tuning across SQL, PL/SQL, and APEX pages.

- Ensure code quality through reviews, unit/integration testing, and documentation.

- Collaborate with DBAs, BAs, QA, and product owners; provide production support and root-cause analysis.

- Mentor junior developers and contribute to standards, tooling, and best practices.

Required Skills and Experience :

- 5 years of professional experience developing with Oracle APEX.

- Strong Oracle PL/SQL : packages, procedures, functions, triggers, exception handling, bulk operations.

- Advanced SQL, query optimization, and performance tuning techniques.

- Front-end skills : JavaScript, HTML, CSS for APEX UI customization and dynamic behavior.

- Oracle APEX Collections and PL/SQL Collections usage in transactional flows.

- API integration using RESTful services (consume/expose), ORDS, OAuth/token handling, and JSON processing.

- Hands-on experience with Oracle APEX Workflow : defining workflow models, stages, roles, routing rules, escalations/reminders, notifications, and integration with APEX pages/components.

- Solid understanding of relational database design, normalization, and data modeling.

- Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.

- Clear communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.
