Senior OpenShift Infrastructure Lead - IBM C4PI

Key Responsibilities :

Architecture & Design :

- Design and implement scalable and resilient OpenShift clusters.

- Develop and maintain infrastructure and integration solutions using IBM CP4i.

- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and design appropriate solutions.

Deployment & Management :

- Oversee the deployment and configuration of OpenShift clusters and CP4i components.

- Implement best practices for CI/CD pipelines and automation within OpenShift.

- Monitor and optimize the performance of OpenShift environments and integration solutions.

Troubleshooting & Support :

- Provide expert-level support for OpenShift and CP4i issues.

- Troubleshoot complex infrastructure and integration problems, ensuring minimal downtime.

- Develop and maintain documentation for infrastructure and integration processes.

Team Leadership :

- Lead and mentor a team of infrastructure and integration engineers.

- Coordinate with other technical leads to align infrastructure and integration efforts with overall company goals.

- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the team.

Compliance & Security :

- Ensure that OpenShift and CP4i implementations adhere to security and compliance standards.

- Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.

Required Qualifications :

Experience :

- 5+ years of experience with OpenShift and IBM CP4i.

- Proven experience in designing, deploying, and managing cloud-native applications.

- Strong background in infrastructure management and automation tools.

Technical Skills :

- Proficiency in Kubernetes, OpenShift, and container orchestration.

- Deep understanding of IBM Cloud Pak for Integration (CP4i) components and their integration.

- Experience with CI/CD tools and practices (i.e., Jenkins, GitLab).

- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

Leadership Skills :

- Strong leadership and team management capabilities.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.

- Proven track record of successful project delivery and stakeholder management.

Education :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- Advanced degrees or relevant certifications are a plus.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Certifications in OpenShift (i.e., Red Hat Certified Specialist) and IBM Cloud Pak for Integration.

-Experience with other integration platforms and tools.

- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management.
