About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior ODI Developer with expertise in Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) to design, develop, and maintain ETL processes that support enterprise data initiatives.

The role involves working closely with data architects, business analysts, and ETL teams to deliver high-quality, scalable, and efficient data integration solutions.

The ideal candidate will have strong ODI experience, excellent problem-solving skills, and hands-on expertise in ETL design, development, and deployment.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, implement, and maintain ETL workflows using Oracle Data Integrator (ODI).

- Develop mappings, procedures, and packages to extract, transform, and load data from multiple source systems to target systems.

- Collaborate with data architects and business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical ETL solutions.

- Optimize ETL processes for performance, scalability, and maintainability.

- Implement data validation, error handling, and exception management in ETL jobs.

- Monitor and troubleshoot ETL processes to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity.

- Create and maintain technical documentation, including ETL design specifications, workflows, and data lineage.

- Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment activities to ensure high-quality delivery.

- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior ODI developers and team members.

- Stay up-to-date with ODI tools, ETL best practices, and data integration trends.

Required Qualifications & Skills :

- Total experience : 510 years in ETL development, with 3+ years of hands-on ODI experience.

- Strong expertise in Oracle Data Integrator (ODI 11g/12c), including mappings, packages, scenarios, and knowledge modules.

- Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, and database concepts (Oracle, SQL Server, or similar).

- Experience with data warehousing concepts, dimensional modeling, and star/snowflake schemas.

- Strong understanding of ETL best practices, performance tuning, and debugging.

- Experience with data quality, data profiling, and data governance initiatives.

- Familiarity with scheduling tools (Control-M, Autosys, or similar) for ETL job automation.
