Job Title : Senior Observability & Backend Engineer

Location : Hyderabad

Notice Period : Immediate to 20 days

Experience : 5+ years (Relevant : 5+ years)

Role Overview :

We are looking for a highly skilled Observability & Backend Engineer with strong experience in monitoring, backend development, and cloud technologies. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in Prometheus, Grafana, Dynatrace, and time-series data, along with solid backend programming skills. You will be responsible for building monitoring solutions, designing APIs, optimizing data pipelines, and contributing to scalable systems.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, implement, and optimize observability solutions using Prometheus, Grafana, and Dynatrace.

- Write, manage, and optimize PromQL queries and work extensively with time-series datasets.

- Develop scalable and high-performance backend services using Python, Go, or Java.

- Design RESTful APIs and contribute to robust API architecture and data modeling.

- Build and maintain data pipelines to support application performance monitoring and analytics.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve monitoring, alerting, and system reliability.

- Deploy, manage, and optimize services on AWS or Azure cloud platforms.

- Ensure system availability, performance, and scalability through automated dashboards, alerts, and logging frameworks.

Required Skills & Technologies :

- Strong expertise with Prometheus, Grafana, Dynatrace.

- Hands-on experience designing and managing time-series data.

- Proficiency in backend programming : Python / Go / Java.

- Solid understanding of API design, data modeling, and data pipelines.

- Deep knowledge of PromQL and performance monitoring metrics.

- Experience working with cloud environments : AWS or Azure.

- Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Nice-to-Have :

- Experience with distributed systems or microservice architectures.

- Exposure to Kubernetes, Docker, or cloud-native observability tools.

- Familiarity with CI/CD and DevOps workflows.
