Senior Network Security Specialist
Role Overview :
We are looking for an experienced Network Security Specialist to strengthen our cybersecurity posture across Data Centers and Cloud environments. The role involves managing network security infrastructure, coordinating audits, supporting BAU operations, and collaborating with stakeholders for new security solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep technical expertise and strong troubleshooting skills in large-scale environments.
Education & Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in Network Security roles within BFSI/NBFC or similar regulated environments.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CEH, CISM, CISSP, Palo Alto PCNSE, CyberArk CDE, Netskope certifications, AWS/Azure Security).
Key Responsibilities :
- Coordinate with internal and external cybersecurity auditors to ensure compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.
- Provide day-to-day operational support for network security systems.
- Handle escalated cases and assist the downline team in troubleshooting.
- Good Understanding on security audits and intrusion detection system logs for system and network anomalies.
- Investigates and/or escalates security violations, attempts to gain unauthorized access, virus infections that may affect the network or other event affecting security.
- Assists in providing engineering analysis, design and support for firewalls, routers, networks and operating systems.
- Firewall upgradations, Security policy, Nat Policy, Routing, IPSec tunnel, remote access VPN, Security profiles (IPS/IDS, URL Filtering, Application control, DNS security, Sandboxing etc.)
- Handle troubleshooting and diagnosis to find root cause of incident.
- Team management Incident handling skills, use case management, risk assessment.
- Work with cross-functional teams during evaluation and implementation of new security solutions.
- Ensure network security devices are proactively updated and patched.
- Perform configuration audits and security incident reporting.
- Troubleshoot complex issues in large-scale Data Center and Cloud environments.
- Mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance.
- Strong understanding of routing protocols, security services, ACLs.
- Experience in configuration audits and incident reporting.
- Advanced troubleshooting in large-scale DC & Cloud environments.
- Proactive approach to maintaining and upgrading network security devices.

Additional Skills :

- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.

- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong problem-solving mindset.
Work Schedule :
- Standard business hours with on-call support for critical incidents.
- Flexibility for weekend or extended hours if required.
